Insurance People had the honor to be a sponsor at Boricua Fall Fest in Rocky Mount on Saturday, October 23, 2021. The purpose of this festival is to reunite all Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics that live in North Carolina and bring them a taste of their island P.R. There were many vendors selling their souvenirs, artisans selling their hand made creations, food trucks with all the Puerto Rican food you can imagine, face painting, bouncy houses, and a famous Puerto Rican rock band called “La Secta All Star.”
Insurance People’s Haydee Pomales shared the following about her experience at Boricua Fall Fest:
“As a Puerto Rican myself I felt like I was home for a while, this experience was unique. Insurance People is committed to the Hispanic community, our goal is to be more involved in these types of events and promote the growth of Hispanic businesses in North Carolina. Working with Insurance People has allowed me to connect with our affiliated organizations such as The Restaurant Lodging Association and our local Home Builders Association. By forming these strong relationships with these organizations and utilizing their vast resources, we have been able to better serve our Hispanic community in North Carolina.”
